About Mrs. Sumerel

     Hello! My name is Leah Sumerel and I am a third grade teacher at Margaret Elementary School. I have taught both first and third grades in St. Clair County for a total of eleven years. I love being a teacher at Margaret Elementary and can't wait to begin this 2018-2019 school year!

     I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education in 2006 from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. In 2016, I graduated with my Master's Degree in the same field.

     My husband (John) and I have a sweet, four-year-old son, named Walker. I love to read, travel, and spend time with my family.
